About Your Instructors

Dr. Mike is a Michigan native, born and raised in Escanaba.
After graduating from Escanaba High School, he attended Bay de Noc Community College and then transferred to Northern Michigan University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry.
Shortly after graduating from Northern, Dr. Mike attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in October 2020.
Along with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Mike is also certified in Active Release Technique (ART).
During his free time Dr. Mike enjoys spending time with friends and family, hunting, fishing, golfing and plenty of other outdoor activities that the U.P. has to offer..

Dr. Kevin is a yooper native from Escanaba.
After graduating highschool he attended Grand Valley State University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and later went on to attend Palmer College.
During his time at Palmer, Dr. Kevin took an interest in sport injury and postural rehabilitation and worked in the rehabilitation department as a rehab intern.
He holds certifications in Active Release Technique (ART), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
While not at work, Dr. Kevin enjoys the outdoors in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and spending time with friends and his family, consisting of his wife and three children

Amber is a yooper native born and raised in Bark River.
After graduating high school she attended Grand Valley State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training.
She has worked in both the clinic setting and outreach setting with local high schools as an Athletic Trainer along with her work as an American Heart Association CPR instructor.
Outside of work, Amber enjoys spending her free time doing anything active outdoors, especially with her husband and two young boys along with other family and friends.

6:10 PM: Take-home action-plan, and Q&A with our Doctors of Physical Therapy
